Ways you can support us.
- Become a Mentor (technical and non-technical mentors needed. If you have a hobby, skill or passion, most likely we can use your talents to mentor students on the team).
- Coordinate a fund raising event.
- Sponsor the team or ask your company to sponsor (also check if your company has donor matching).
- Provide access to a facility to use as a practice space. (For more info on what kind of space we need see Our Dream page.)
Sponsor
We love our sponsors! Teams like ours couldn't exist without the people, families, companies, and organizations that support us! We offer a few benefits to our sponsors based on their donation amount. Your company logo, or name, on our season t-shirt, robot and website, a newsletter if you request it.
Donate
Victor Robotics operates under Rochester Comunity Robotics, Inc. a 501(c)3 organization and the Victor Central School District.
To support many of the local area robotics teams, consider donating directly to Rochester Community Robotics
You can also donate to Rochester Community Robotics through United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes.
As of 2023, Rochester Community Robotics currently supports 21 FRC teams, 4 regional events and countless FLL teams. Although monetary donations are a great help, it is more important to support the youth robotics community by volunteering as a mentor. Teams can operate out of school districts, college sponsored, Scouting, 4H, Boys and Girls clubs and a variety of other organizations. Teams need advice from, not only technical mentors, but also business, art, and community outreach. All of these areas are part of the robotics team experience.
To donate directly to our team make checks payable to Rochester Community Robotics (Team 1559).

Join a Team
Victor Robotics, and other teams in the area, are always looking for new mentors and students to help our teams grow! You don't have to be a nerd, geek, or mad scientist to join a team. You just need a passion to want to do something that can help students learn in a fun and competitive way. And, mentors learn as much as students in many cases. Check out a team near you, you will be pleasantly surprised what it's all about.
