Things we can and can not typically accept at these events

Things we can accept:
Electronics:
  • ​ TVs, Flat Screens, Computers, Printers, Copiers, devices that are listed by NYDEC's CEE (Covered Electronic Equipment) list. see list here
  • Small electronics, phones, PDAs, tablets, laptops, Ink and Toner cartridges.
Scrap Metal:
  • ​Car parts, Lawn Mowers, Garden Tractors, Small Engines, Grills, Fire Pits, Lawn Furniture
  • ​Car and Lawn Tractor Batteries, Wire, Aluminum, Copper, Appliances
Clean Used Clothing:
  • Kids upcoming seasonal clothes, and foot wear.
  • Towels and Wash cloths.
Food Cupboard:
  • Dried goods, Laundry products, Cereal , Soup, Non-Perishable foods.
Lollypop Farm:
  • Old blankets and towels, dog and cat toys, pet food, Litter, grooming brushes large and small.
Things we can not accept:
​Electronics:
  • Microwaves, Air Conditioners, Refrigerators, Freezers, Dehumidifiers, Industrial Equipment, Servers, Medical Equipment, Smoke Detectors, Florescent Lights.
    (see non-CEE list at bottom of NYDEC CEE page). Some Non-CEE items will be accepted, but will cost our team by the pound, please consider a donation if you intend to bring any of these items.
Scrap Metal:
  • Hazardous Waste, gas tanks (items with gas tanks must be emptied before drop off).
Used Clothing:
  • Dirty, Ripped, Ragged clothing, shoes etc.
Food Cupboard:
  • Expired products, perishable items (milk, fruit, fresh meat).
