FLL:Challenge

First LEgo league: Challenge

Intended for students grades 4, 5, and 6
Teams are made up of 6 - 10 students and two adults
Meets 2 evenings a week from 6:30 to 8:00, from the beginning of the season in September until the Qualifier Competition
There are three competitions during the FLLChallenge season: the Qualifier competition, the Regional competition, and the World Championship
Competitions are based around a yearly theme that is released at the beginning of each season
To complete the challenge, teams use a SPIKE Prime robot
Alongside the competitive challenge, students complete a research and innovation project based on the theme
Other events the team participates in include ‘Super Science Saturday’ and the annual recycle drive
