FRC Team 1559, Devil Tech, is a group of passionate students and mentors who work together to promote STEM and create a competition robot that performs a set of game tasks each season. Without the numerous amounts of dedicated volunteers, and our generous sponsors, that help support the specific aspects of the team 1559, we would not be as successful as we are.

About Us...
Team 1559, Devil Tech, was founded by Peter Fleckenstein and a group of passionate students in 2004. We are a FIRST Robotics Competition team located in Victor, New York, that focuses on student growth and development. We strive to promote STEM ideals along with FIRST's core ideas of gracious professionalism inside of our community and school district, empowering today's students to be tomorrow's innovators, engineers, and business professionals.
The FRC roboitcs program requires a major time commitment from the students, coaches and mentors. Students should be prepared to be committed to the team and the FIRST FRC program's purpose. This requires students who have a passion for hardware and software design as well as students with interests in graphics art, media production, fund raising, community outreach and STEAM advocacy. We are not a 'club', we are a competitive team and business. If you are looking for a co-currecular activity just to add to your college applications, this may not be the activity you would want to join. We love to have fun too, but the season's schedule requires attention to details and a sizable time commitment on par with any varsity sport or band activity.
Currently the FRC team meets throughout the school year, with the most intense activity being from January through May. There are many summer activities we may attend if team members show an interest and are committed to the time and effort to participate.
