First Lego League: Explore

Intended for grades 2 and 3
Teams are made up of 6 students and two adult coaches
Teams meet from 6:30 - 8:00 once a week from September to December whenever the coaches of the teams are available and there is space
The FLLExplore team is non-competitive, so the season ends with a ‘Show & Share’ night in the primary cafeteria
On that night the students get to display and share what they did during the season, presenting their journey throughout the season to a panel of “judges” made up of FRC members and previous coaches
After their presentation, each of the teams is given an award and certificate
Other events the team participates in include ‘Super Science Saturday’ and the annual recycle drive
